Project Director

Reports to OMG President. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates functions of the division. Ensures that the goals and objectives of the division are accomplished in conformance with procedures specified in the Government contract. Ensures the overall process is in accordance with federal laws, regulations, and corporate operating policies, procedures and directions.

Education and experience requirements:

• Master’s degree in behavioral science, supplemented by courses in administration (preferred)

• Bachelor’s degree and pertinent experience may be substituted for education.

• Eight years experience with public and private Human Services organizations, public school system, or public business administration; five years must have been in a responsible administrative capacity, preferably in a youth-service program.

• Possess strong leadership ability, sound judgment, and effective administrative ability.

Admissions Counselor

Reports to the Project Director or the State Coordinator. Responsible for outreach and admissions services for students in compliance with Government and management directives.


Education and experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or four years of related experience.

• One year experience in sales, marketing, or counseling related experience.

• Ability to interact with individuals from economically and socially-diverse backgrounds.

• Interview prospective applicants and determine program suitability.

• Ability to interact cooperatively with placement staff to ensure that maximum efforts are provided to give quality services to youth.

• Ability to create and maintain database files on integrated computer system.

• Applicants must have a valid driver’s license in the state of assignment with an acceptable driving record.

Career Transition Specialist

Reports to the Project Director or the State Coordinator. Responsible for developing quality career placement and provide career transition services and support for program participants.


Education and experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or four years related experience.

• One year experience in sales, marketing, or counseling related services.

• Ability to interact with employers and program participants.

• Knowledge of existing federal, state and local government legislation governing the hiring of employees.

• Applicants must possess job placement marketing skills to be successful in this position.
